The 2015 Conference

Supporting Dementia in Primary Care – Psychosocial Approaches

1st May 2015

Health & Wellbeing Innovation Centre  Treliske, Truro, Cornwall TR1 3FF

Follow the continued conversation about the conference on Twitter using hashtag  #dementiaps2015

Here are the presentations from the day

Nick  eloquently  began the conference on a really
positive note.  Pitched perfectly with very little jargon a theme developed around a partnership-working approach to dementia care in
communities.  Nick  described the need for
non-clinical organisations to develop more robust evaluation of their work in particular cost benefit analysis - if they are to grab the attention
of the NHS.  Nick reminded us of  the real need for dementia friendly communities to
engage all people, health and non-health professionals, in providing quality support to people living with dementia in communities.
